SKIN TIGHTENING
DESERT BLOOM PLASTIC SURGERY
Morpheus 8 is now available in St. George at Oasis Aesthetics
You’ve heard of microneedling before, also known as induction therapy, where needles are repeatedly stuck into the skin to help rejuvenate skin? Well, Oasis Aesthetics is now offering the newest technology for minimally invasive skin rejuvenation where the benefits of microneedling is combined with radiofrequency (RF) energy to achieve more youthful skin in your problem area. Morpheus 8 is best at deep tissue work due to its deep penetration of energy into your skin.
frequently asked questions
Morpheus 8 helps stimulate collagen production by introducing long needles, nearly twice as long as those used for microneedling, into the skin and using the RF energy it helps stimulate collagen to help tighten skin, improve fine lines and wrinkles, even out texture, and reduce stretch marks.
To achieve your best results, you’ll need a series of up to three sessions which are spaced four to six weeks apart. Some patients choose to maintain their results with yearly treatments.
The most commonly treated areas are the neck and face but the Morpheus 8 can be used anywhere on the body, with other common areas being the abdomen or buttocks.
Yes. The RF technology is known to be very safe for all pigments of skin. The risk of hyperpigmentation (darkening of the skin) has been found to be very low with RF technology.
It is common to have a few areas of pin point bleeding during the procedure that last only a few seconds. Due to the many tiny holes in the skin we ask you to hold off using makeup for 48 hours in the treated areas and always use caution in the sun.
Our office offers the finest topical anesthesia to make the treatment comfortable for you. The total treatment takes about one hour as the local anesthesia takes approximately 30 minutes to start working.
While results are seen in just a few days, the best results start after collagen production kicks in around three weeks and looks the best three months after treatment.
Prices vary depending on the size of the area and condition you would like treated. Allow Dr. Wallin to consult with you to come up with a treatment pathway and provide you with specific pricing for your area of concern.
