FACE & NECK
Many patients who rejuvenate the face and neck area feel younger and more self-confident. Cosmetic surgeons can reduce jowls and visible sagging skin on the neck area through a neck lift. For areas of the face, a traditional facelift is a popular and safe cosmetic procedure that can mitigate the effects of deep wrinkles and loose skin by manipulating tissue and underlying facial muscles. For patients interested in restoring volume to their face, liposuction with fat grafting is another effective option for recontouring the face.
NOSE
A rhinoplasty, otherwise known as a ‘nose job,’ is a well-known surgical option for patients unhappy about the size or shape of their nose. Surgical procedures to the nose can include removing the nasal hump, reshaping of the tip, or building up the bridge, all with the goal of balancing the nose with the other facial features. Patients who are having trouble breathing due to damage to the nose also seek rhinoplasty.
EYES
Baggy and sagging eyelids that look unsightly impact self-image. Eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) helps improve appearance by removing extra skin and some fat. Blepharoplasty patients often ask for complementary procedures like filler injections or laser resurfacing with the eyelid surgery. These options help treat crow’s feet and other wrinkles. The procedure can also improve a person’s sight by treating drooping upper eyelids that might get in the way of the line of sight. Sometimes, the appearance of the eyes is best treated with a brow lift rather than eyelid surgery. The brow lift raises not only the eyelids, but the eyebrows as well, restoring a bright, youthful look. Dr. Wallin can advise you on whether eyelid surgery and brow lift should be used in tandem or not. Rectifying impaired vision may include both or just one.
EARS
Ears that stick out or otherwise look unsightly can make children (and adults) the target of teasing or bullying. Ear surgery, otherwise known as otoplasty involves the removal of some skin and cartilage so that ears can be tucked closer to the head. Children can get otoplasty as young as five, but adults often get the procedure as well. Otoplasty can help children avoid teasing. Dr. Wallin understands the sensitive nature of ear surgery.

RECONSTRUCTIVE PROCEDURES
Dr. Wallin specializes in MOHS Reconstruction (skin cancer), Maxillofacial Trauma, Congenital Ear Deformities, Cleft Lip and Palate, Earlobe Reconstruction, Facial Nerve Weakness, and Scar Revision.
PRONOX® NITROUS OXIDE SYSTEM
ProNox® is a self-administered nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and oxygen system that you can request to help lessen discomfort during a procedure under local anesthesia. Once called laughing gas, nitrous oxide calms the central nervous system and keeps you comfortable during your procedure.
If you’d like to learn more about any of these options, Dr. Wallin would love to talk with you. Call us at (435) 627-8150, or reach out to us online to set up an appointment to meet one-on-one with a talented plastic surgeon.
